SEN Teaching Assistant - ASD & SEMH Support (Primary & Secondary)
Location: Rugby, Warwickshire
Date available: ASAP
Position: Full-Time Term Time Only
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with ASD and SEMH needs
* Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering tailored learning activities
* Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive emotional wellbeing
* Work collaboratively with SENCOs, therapists and other professionals
* Support students both academically and socially, building strong, trusting relationships
What we\'re looking for
* Has experience working with children with ASD and/or SEMH needs
* Is calm, patient and resilient, with a nurturing approach
* Has strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff
* Is flexible, proactive and committed to inclusive education
* (Desirable) Holds a relevant TA qualification or training in SEND
