Job Role of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance activities across a range of manufacturing and production machinery. Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you will play a key role in ensuring maximum equipment uptime while supporting continuous improvement initiatives throughout the site.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
* Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification (or equivalent).
* Multi-skilled maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
* Experience carrying out planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance.
Essential Requirements for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
* Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
* Level 3 Electrical qualification as a minimum requirement.
* Experience working on manufacturing or production machinery.
* Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced engineering environment.
* Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
Desirable Requirements for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
* Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within the UK.
* Experience fault-finding on PLC-controlled equipment.
* Apprenticeship-trained engineer.
* Knowledge of continuous improvement and reliability practices.
