This is a permanent, on-site role based in Thame, Oxfordshire, offering the opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative finance team.Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain general ledger to trial balance and ensure accurate transaction recording.
2. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
3. Manage banking operations, including payments and reconciliations.
4. Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including credit control.
5. Manage weekly and monthly payroll processes (essential).
6. Support external audits and ensure timely submission of audit documentation.
7. Analyse and report on financial trends including sales, margins, and overheads.
8. Assist with monthly reporting and budgeting.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights.
10. Administer Inward Processing Relief processes and reporting.
Skills & Experience
11. Minimum AAT qualification.
12. Proven experience in a similar finance role.
13. Proficiency in accounting and payroll software (, Access Supply Chain, Sage Payroll).
14. Strong Excel skills.
15. High attention to detail and accuracy.
16. Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
17. Ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure.
18. Must have hands-on payroll experience.
