A fantastic opportunity to work in a beautiful independent hotel and spa, set on a stunning estate in Buckinghamshire.
We are looking for an experienced Head Chef to take control, accountability and ownership for the management of the department within the overall policies and controls established by the Hotel General Manager, ensuring that the Kitchen standards are delivered and budgeted profitability achieved.
The key responsibilities and duties include
Supervising the preparation of the restaurant menu, daily specialities and banqueting functions
To be fully conversant with:
* The Hotel fire and Bomb Procedures
* The Hotel Health and Safety Policy Procedures
* Departmental Food Hygiene Regulations
* C.O.S.H.H Regulations
* Employee Handbook
Establish the kitchen budget in consultancy and collaboration with the Hotel GM and DGM and contribute to other F&B departments' budgeting process
The role is full time working 45 hours per week over 5 days.
