We are recruiting for two permanent opportunities within the Nuclear Skills Alliance (NSA): an EPR Operations Instructor and an EPR Fuel Route Operations Instructor. Both roles play an important part in supporting HPC. You’ll deliver training on European Pressurised Reactor systems and support colleagues as they grow their operational understanding. The EPR Fuel Route Operations Instructor specialises in the fuel route area. You’ll train colleagues in procedures that support safe fuel movement, storage and handling, helping to build confidence in this critical part of the station’s operation. As an EPR Operations Instructor, you’ll support the transition towards An Electric Britain by training the people who will operate Hinkley Point C. Working full time on site at HPC, you’ll be part of a friendly and knowledgeable team. You’ll deliver training in classroom and simulator facilities, helping colleagues develop confidence in real‑world scenarios. Being on site means you’ll stay closely connected with the project and those you support. What You’ll Be Doing Delivering classroom and simulator training, including coaching individuals to support their learning Creating and maintaining accurate EPR training material Leading groups of trainees of varying sizes depending on the session Working with trainees, line managers and subject matter experts to build competence Acting as a specialist in assigned EPR topic areas and maintaining high‑quality source information Who You Are We’re looking for an EPR Operations Instructor who brings clear communication, technical understanding and a calm, supportive approach.
