Location: Exeter Chiefs - Sandy Park, Sandy Park Way, Exeter EX2 7NN
Working Hours: Match-days only. The working day starts around 5 hours pre-kick-off and ends around one hour after the match (Approximately 8 hours per match-day).
Salary: £12.50 per hour plus rolled-up holiday pay of £1.51 per hour.

The Role
Hawk-Eye provides medical video replay services at Rugby fixtures across England. We seek a reliable, tech-savvy individual to support our on-site operations at Exeter Chiefs' home matches alongside another Hawk-Eye Match Day technician.
This role offers the chance to work at the forefront of sports technology during major sporting events, contributing to safer, fairer, and more engaging rugby.
Fixtures are scheduled on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from September to June. Regular availability for Exeter Chiefs' home fixtures is required.
Our services extend across UK & European club competitions, international fixtures, and major World Rugby events, with opportunities to work at these events.
Key Responsibilities
* Install and set up Hawk-Eye technology on Match Day with a fellow technician.
* Operate Hawk-Eye medical video replay systems to assist medical staff in identifying head injury incidents.
* Log and create post-match clips of medical events.
* Coordinate with our Rugby Remote Support team for smooth operations.
* Perform pre-match system checks following standard procedures.
* Work with on-site broadcasters to integrate Hawk-Eye services.
* Monitor hardware and software performance.
* Troubleshoot issues with support from our Remote Support team.
* Represent Hawk-Eye professionally and confidently on-site.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
* Technical background with hardware and software proficiency.
* Studying or degree in science, technology, engineering, or relevant experience.
* Organized, analytical, and proactive with problem-solving skills.
* Responsible with the ability to work independently.
* Team player capable of collaborating effectively.
* Ability to manage time in high-pressure, live environments.
* Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and stakeholders.
* Interest in rugby or rugby analysis is a plus.
* Flexible with working hours, including weekends and longer days.
