Job Title: Education Advocate (Post 16)
Type: Permanent, Part-Time (0.6 FTE), pro-rata, working term-time only plus 5 days (22.2 hours per week)
The HOPE Virtual School is pleased to announce a recruitment opportunity for an Education Advocate (Post 16).
This role offers an exciting opportunity to join an established team and contribute to the virtual school's objectives in securing the best provision and educational outcomes for children in care. You will collaborate with young people, carers, social workers, education settings, and other professionals to ensure each child has a high-quality personal education plan that supports their education and training.
You will work closely with multi-agency partners and education providers to ensure the implementation of the educational plans and support care-experienced young people across all aspects of their education.
If you have experience working with young people in education, understand the challenges faced by children in care, and have experience in planning for and achieving success, we welcome your application.
Please note: This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
