Horizon Teachers are recruiting for an Early Years Practitioner to work in a prestigious independent school located in Camden. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic, compassionate, and creative practitioner who is passionate about supporting children’s early development within a nurturing and stimulating Early Years environment.

Key Responsibilities of an Early Years Practitioner:
Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children’s language, social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development in line with the EYFSEYFS framework.
Foster a warm, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and independent learning.
Observe children regularly, tracking progress and contributing to developmental records and reports to support individual learning journeys.
Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, ensuring clear communication around progress, development, and any key updates.
Support classroom organisation and daily routines, including activity preparation, mealtimes, and maintaining a safe and tidy learning space.
Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to ensure consistency and high standards of care across the Early Years setting.
Adhere to all safeguarding, health and safety, and child welfare policies at all times.What we are looking for in an Early Years Practitioner:
Level 6 Childcare qualification (or equivalent) in Early Years Education.
Strong experience working with young children, ideally within an independent school or similar setting.
A creative and forward-thinking approach to Early Years learning and development.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence liaising with parents and colleagues.
Strong time-management skills and the ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment.
A warm, caring, and approachable nature with a genuine passion for Early Years education.
