Driver Hire Stockport - HGV Class 1 (C+E) Shunter Driver
Driver Hire Stockport is currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 (C+E) Shunter Driver to work for our well-respected client based in the Glossop area. You will be part of a dedicated team working for a company that truly values its staff.
Main duties:
1. Move vehicles and trailers around the client’s yard in a safe and timely manner.
2. Work Monday – Friday, with shifts starting at 22:00 until 06:00.
Requirements for the Successful HGV Class 1 Driver:
* C+E Licence
* CPC Card
* Digital Tacho Card
* No more than 6 points on your licence
Responsibilities:
* Knowledge and implementation of RWTR, Drivers Hours, and Breaks regulations.
* Ability to use internal or external strapping equipment.
* Customer-oriented approach.
* Strong work ethic and adaptability to different company environments.
* Build and maintain good relationships with customers.
Pay Rates:
Paid weekly via PAYE:
* £19.05 per hour, with overtime at £23.53 per hour (paid after 8 hours).
* Including holidays within the hourly rate; for holidays to be set aside, the hourly rate would be £17 per hour, with overtime at £21 per hour.
