Description
A market leader within its sector is seeking a Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager responsible for establishing and maintaining quality standards at the site. The role involves ensuring compliance with quality standards, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
1. Lead technical trials with the technical team.
2. Identify new techniques and materials to improve product offerings based on team input and customer requests.
3. Review NCRs and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
4. Collaborate with operations to improve product quality continuously.
5. Maintain a robust Quality Management System compliant with ISO 9001 standards.
6. Manage trials for new machinery and processes in coordination with Engineering and relevant departments.
7. Ensure all machinery and process changes comply with health, safety, and environmental policies.
8. Communicate changes and trials to relevant departments and peers.
9. Streamline processes to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality service delivery.
10. Implement work practices aiming for zero errors and waste, reviewing and improving current processes regularly.
11. Leverage applications to automate routine activities, reducing manual interventions.
12. Maintain high standards of quality and efficiency through industry knowledge and process reviews.
13. Accurately maintain data in company systems.
14. Assess performance, identify bottlenecks, perform root cause analysis, and suggest improvements.
15. Ensure health and safety standards are upheld in the working area.
16. Support the Head of Technical and Quality as needed.
Skills & Experience
* Science Degree or equivalent qualification.
