Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant/Senior Support Worker to join our client in Oban, The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in senior care/support and possess strong leadership skills. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents.
Responsibilities:
* Administer Medication as per prescription
* Develop and implement individualised care plans for residents
* Provide high-quality personal care and assistance with daily activities
* Supervise and support care staff in delivering exceptional service
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
* Maintain a safe and clean environment within the care home
* Utilize IT systems for documentation and record-keeping purposes
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in senior care
Requirements:
- Must have 6 months UK experience as an senior carer - SSSC registered SVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills to guide and motivate staff
- Excellent communication skills to interact with residents and team members
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in supervising care activities and ensuring quality service delivery
- Valid driver's license for occasional travel as needed
