Newstaff Driving recruitment agency is hiring experienced HGV1 Drivers in Leighton Buzzard to join a leading logistics company on a temporary basis with immediate starts available. This is a brilliant opportunity for professional drivers ready to hit the road, with both day and night trunking shifts available.
Location: Leighton Buzzard
Salary: £17–£18 per hour (PAYE), depending on shift
Working Hours: Day or Night shifts, typically 10–12 hours
Job Type: Temporary (Ongoing work available for the right candidate)
* Safely operate an HGV1 vehicle for regional deliveries and collections
* Complete accurate delivery logs and paperwork
* Adhere to all UK transport laws and company regulations
* Carry out vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues
* Maintain a clean and professional vehicle at all times
* Valid UK HGV1 (Category C+E) driving licence
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
* Previous HGV1 driving experience preferred
* Strong time management and route planning skills
* A safety-first mindset with a reliable, professional approach
