Are you currently working in a warehouse or logistics environment and ready to step up into a more responsible, rewarding role? This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who’s organised, hard-working, and looking to take real ownership of a new site.
Our client is a premium product distributor with a growing UK and international customer base. They’ve recently opened a new local warehouse and are now seeking a motivated Warehouse Supervisor to help manage day-to-day operations—and play a key role in shaping its future success.
The Role: You’ll be responsible for overseeing the efficient and careful handling of goods, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and despatched to a high standard. As the site grows, you'll also take on supervisory responsibility for new staff. This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety, ideal for someone who’s proactive, trustworthy, and thrives in a role with autonomy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Picking and packing customer orders (products can weigh up to 15kg)
* Preparing goods for shipment and ensuring packaging standards are met
* Loading and unloading deliveries
* Recording and rotating stock, tracking deliveries and returns
* Conducting stock takes and monitoring for damaged goods or packaging issues
* Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
* Covering ad hoc delivery runs when the main driver is off
* Supervising future staff as the site scales
What We’re Looking For:
* UK driving licence (over 25s preferred, with fewer than 6 points)
* Previous experience in a warehouse or similar setting
* A responsible and reliable attitude—this role involves working alone at times
* Someone keen to grow with the business and take ownership
* A physically active role – must be comfortable with lifting and moving stock
* Basic computer literacy
* Excellent attention to detail and a can-do approach
What’s On Offer:
* Starting salary of £28,000–£32,000 (depending on experience)
* 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) plus your birthday off
* Private healthcare and company pension
* Ongoing mentoring and development
* Future forklift training (if required)
* Long-term growth opportunities as the site expands
We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates. We are committed to providing a work environment that is free from discrimination and harassment.
