Job Description: Management Company Controller Jain Global, LLC Jain Global is an innovative multi-strategy investment firm founded in July 2024 by Bobby Jain with over 400 employees operating from offices in New York, Houston, London, Singapore, and Hong Kong, we are looking to add to our growing teams. Role Overview Reporting to the Finance Director, the Management Company Controller will support the accounting and financial operations of the management companies and contribute to global finance processes. This is a hands-on role suited to a developing controller with strong core accounting skills, exposure to asset management environments, and an interest in automation and process improvement. The role supports accurate financial reporting, month-end close, and internal controls, while working closely with global finance colleagues and outsourced providers. It offers progression toward broader controller responsibilities within a growing international organization. Responsibilities: Support the day-to-day accounting operations of the Management Companies, including general ledger support in Workday and co-ordination with outsourced accounting providers. Assist with month-end close activities, including accounts payable, payroll journals, accruals, and review of management packs. Support tax and regulatory reporting requirements in partnership with wider finance, tax and compliance teams. Assist with financial statements preparation, management meetings, and audit coordination. Help maintain a robust internal control environment, supporting audit readiness and documentation of processes. Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives within Workday and related finance systems. Qualifications & Experience: 4-6 years of relevant accounting/finance experience. Experience in asset management, financial services, or a comparable regulated environment preferred. ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified Working knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP Experience with Workday Financials or a similar ERP is preferred. Strong attention to detail, with a solid understanding of accounting controls and close processes. Clear communicator with the ability to work across geographies. Interest in systems, automation, or data tools viewed positively.
