Technology & Risk Recruitment is working with a leading law firm to recruit a Risk & Compliance Assistant.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to move into a Risk & Compliance Assistant role where you are yet to receive that title but have worked in a Risk & Compliance function within a law firm e.g. Paralegal or Administrator.
The Role:
You'll be a key support to the Risk & Compliance team, covering:
* Coordination of internal and external audits (Lexcel, AML, regulatory visits)
* File reviews and client due diligence checks
* Maintaining policies, procedures, and central registers
* Supporting training, risk meetings, and compliance projects
* Assisting with root cause analysis and professional negligence matters
What we re looking for:
* Experience in risk or compliance (ideally within a legal setting)
* Confident communicator with excellent organisation skills
* Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
* Someone proactive, curious, and eager to build their compliance knowledge
