About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) to support the delivery and assessment of SIA Door Supervisor qualifications. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining compliance, ensuring the highest standards of assessment practice, and supporting assessors to deliver exceptional outcomes for learners.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct sampling and monitoring of assessment decisions to ensure validity, reliability, and consistency.
* Provide constructive feedback and guidance to assessors to maintain high-quality standards.
* Ensure compliance with awarding body requirements and regulatory frameworks.
* Support continuous improvement in teaching, learning, and assessment practices.
* Maintain accurate records of IQA activity in line with organisational and awarding body policies.
* Liaise with external verifiers and awarding organisations during audits and external quality assurance visits.
Qualifications & Experience
* A recognised Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) qualification (e.g., Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice).
* A recognised Assessor qualifications
* A SIA Door Supervisor licence.
* Strong understanding of assessment principles, quality assurance, and awarding body requirements.
* Previous experience as an assessor and/or IQA within the security sector (preferred).
* Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a strong eye for detail.
