What you’ll be doing
* Teach and assess learners across a range of programmes
* Create engaging, industry‑relevant content and learning experiences.
* Support learners in developing both theoretical knowledge and practical trade skills.
* Delivery of practical and/or theoretical topics such as electrical science and principles, installation planning, design, preparation and hands‑on training.
What we are looking for
* A passion for education and the electrical installation trade
* Strong planning and communication skills
* A collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently and within a team
* A commitment to delivering high‑quality learning experiences
* A relevant qualification or significant practical experience (and teaching/mentoring experience desirable). We are happy to consider candidates from industry with significant practical experience who are looking to get into education and will support you to obtain a teaching qualification.
* Level 2 & 3 Diplomas in Electrical Installation
* Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Technical
* AM2
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2018)
* Inspection & Testing
* EV Charging Installation
* Industry experience working as an electrician or within an electrical installation area
* Don’t have teaching experience? No problem—we’ll support you with training and mentoring.
