Your main responsibilities
As Finance Manager for Rubax Lifts Ltd, you will be responsible for managing the finance function and ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust controls, and effective financial governance. Working closely with the Managing Director and wider leadership team, you will support operational and strategic decision-making through high-quality financial insight.
You will also collaborate closely with the wider Schindler finance community to ensure alignment with Group standards, policies, and reporting requirements.
Key responsibilities
1. Manage and control the full finance function for Rubax Lifts Ltd
2. Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing in line with Group deadlines
3. Prepare management accounts, forecasts, and annual budgets
4. Deliver statutory accounts and coordinate external audits
5. Ensure compliance with Schindler financial policies, internal controls, and governance standards
6. Act as a finance partner to operational and commercial teams, providing financial insight and challenge
7. Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying risks and opportunities
8. Support cost control, margin improvement, and working capital management
9. Drive continuous improvement of finance processes, systems, and reporting
10. Lead, develop, and support members of the finance team
What you bring
11. Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent)
12. Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar senior finance role
13. Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge
14. Experience working in a structured, matrix or multinational environment
15. Experience managing audits and statutory reporting
16. Strong analytical capability with experience supporting commercial and operational decision-making
17. Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP or finance systems
