Overview
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Site Manager to join a residential development in the heart of East Sussex. You\'ll be joining a well-established team and take ownership of plots from 1st fix through to handover, coordinating trades and maintaining the high build standards the site strives and delivers on.
Responsibilities
* Managing plots through internal stages - from 1st fix right through to customer handover
* Coordinating and supervising subcontractors to maintain quality and progress
* Monitoring build quality and snagging throughout the process
* Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day activities on site
* Ensuring all works comply with H&S and NHBC standards
* Communicating clearly with trades, suppliers and the wider team to keep things running smoothly
Qualifications
* Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager on new build housing projects (ideally with a national housebuilder)
* Strong understanding of build stages and finishing quality
* Ability to take plots from 1st fix confidently
* Valid CSCS, SMSTS and 1st Aid
* Hands on proactive approach
