Overview
Join our team as a Gritting Operative ensuring customer safety by driving a company vehicle with a gritting hopper distributing rock salt. In return, flexible hours, comprehensive training and rewarding benefits will be offered.
Responsibilities
Previous experience isn’t necessary as comprehensive training will be provided, enabling you to perform your duties with confidence. Flexibility is key in this role, as you must be available to work on a call-out basis, including short notice night shifts. Additionally, due to the nature of the job and seasonality of cold weather, a willingness to work over the Christmas period is required.
Requirements
* Full UK Driving License
* You should possess a full driver's license enabling you to operate the company van, while ensuring you have sufficient space at your home premises for the safe storage of the vehicle.
* Availability for call-out work, including night shifts and potential Christmas period work.
