Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver tailored tutoring in Functional Skills (Maths, English, ICT) and GCSE subjects for students with SEMH needs.
2. Support students in developing their academic skills, confidence, and independence.
3. Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual needs, ensuring inclusivity and engagement.
4. Monitor progress, set targets, and provide feedback to students and families.
5. Collaborate with parents, carers, and school staff to support student wellbeing and learning.
About You
* Experience in tutoring students with SEMH or Special Educational Needs.
* Knowledge of Functional Skills and GCSE curricula.
* Understanding of learning difficulties such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia.
* Patient, empathetic, and proactive teaching style.
* Strong communication skills and collaborative approach.
* Located near Bedford with reliable transportation.
