Are you looking for a teaching role, where you can devote time to educating international students with the highest aspirations? Our student body is diverse, inspiring and ever-growing in number. Consequently, an exciting opportunity has arisen to teach within the Humanities faculty. The faculty has a collaborative ethos and contributes to many whole-school initiatives. We are looking for a teacher who can harness the international contexts of our classrooms and offer an inclusive environment for students to engage in dialogue and develop their academic skills. The ability to teach more than one discipline, across different programmes of study would be an advantage. Applicants should evidence a commitment to their professional development. In the longer-term, there are opportunities for successful applicants to undertake the NPQ qualifications (Leading Teaching or Senior Leadership) with us, in partnership with UCL and multiple teachers enrol on these NPQ programmes each year.

For September 2025, we are looking for a person who has:
Subject specialism in at least one Humanities subject, with a degree in a related discipline; experience of teaching psychology is preferred
Interest in and knowledge of current global social issues;
A proven record of excellent and reflective classroom practice;
Responsive teaching strategies that incorporate high quality feedback and a focus on literacy;
Enthusiasm for continued professional learning;
Commitment to ensuring our students have an enriched, holistic boarding school experience.

Experience of teaching Psychology if preferred
