About the Role:
As the Registered Manager - Childrens Home, you will oversee the management of a residential service, ensuring that children and young people receive the highest standards of care and support. You will lead a committed team, fostering a safe, nurturing environment where each child's unique needs are prioritised.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the operational delivery of the service, ensuring compliance with regulations and organisational policies.
* Provide strategic direction and support to staff, focusing on continuous improvement and positive outcomes for young people.
* Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, contributing to the development of child welfare policies and practices.
* Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the sustainability and quality of the service.
What We Are Looking For:
We seek an enthusiastic individual with:
* Proven experience in managing residential services for children and young people.
* A deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and safeguarding practices.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* A qualification in social care or a related field (Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare is preferred).
