Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Special Needs Support
Location: Liverpool, L9.
Contract: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Salary: £103-£105 per day, Depending on Experience
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic educational team. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with special needs students, providing support on a 1-1 basis, in small groups, and as whole-class support.
Responsibilities:
· Provide individualized support to special needs students, ensuring their unique learning requirements are met.
· Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement effective strategies for students with special needs.
· Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, adapting materials to accommodate diverse learning styles.
· Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
· Implement behaviour management strategies to create a supportive and respectful atmosphere.
· Support students with personal care and mobility if required.
· Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other staff members regarding student progress and challenges.
Requirements:
· Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant with a focus on special needs support.
· Familiarity with a variety of special needs conditions and effective strategies for addressing them.
· Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with diverse student needs.
· Relevant qualifications in education or special education are desirable.
