Job Description:
This role offers an exciting opportunity to build your own portfolio and team from the ground up, working directly with top international brokers, without intermediaries. The potential earnings include earning over £1 million in dividends within 3-5 years, contingent upon signing an NDA for further details.
Breaking away from your current Marine Cargo Insurer/Syndicate is challenging unless youve found a better underwriting platform. This is your chance to create something impactful outside large syndicates and corporate institutions.
The company is distinct in the market, with a compelling story and clear vision, already generating £20 million in premiums and operating across the UK, US, and Australia, supported by top-tier infrastructure and a dedicated underwriting team.
The leadership is actively involved and focused on growth, reinvesting profits rather than seeking quick profits.
With a strong foundation in Inland Marine and Property, the business is ready to expand its international marine cargo offering, and they want you to lead this effort.
Your responsibilities include collaborating to secure capacity, building direct broker partnerships worldwide, and developing strategies to grow the global marine cargo book. Travel and leadership opportunities are available as you build your team.
The compensation package includes a competitive base salary of up to £200k, a 33% profit share, and the potential for significant payouts upon hitting key targets.
This role is ideal for a top Marine Cargo Underwriter currently in a corporate environment who feels limited in their current role and wants to develop direct relationships with international brokers, increasing their earning potential.
