MOT Tester – Temporary


📍 Bodmin, Cornwall
💷 £18.09 per hour PAYE
🕒 Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
📅 Immediate Start Available


We are currently recruiting for an experienced MOT Tester to join a busy workshop in Bodmin, Cornwall on a temporary basis. This role is providing sickness cover and is expected to last for an initial period of two weeks, with the potential to be extended.


The Role


As an MOT Tester, you will be responsible for carrying out MOT inspections and supporting the workshop team with servicing, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on a range of cars and light commercial vehicles.


Key Responsibilities



  • Carry out MOT testing in line with DVSA standards

  • Complete routine servicing, diagnostics and repairs

  • Maintain and repair cars and light commercial vehicles

  • Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard

  • Accurately complete relevant documentation and reports


    • Essential Requirements



  • Level 3 Light Vehicle qualification (minimum)

  • Valid MOT Tester qualification

  • Previous experience working within a vehicle workshop environment

  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
