Payroll Officer and Finance Administrator, Harrogate (5 month contract), £35,000 pro rata
Our client within the Education sector is looking for an experienced payroll officer and finance administrator to ensure that employees are paid accurately and on time.
They can offer full time hours of 35 hours/week for a 5 month contract to start as soon as possible.
They can also offer the option of 21 hours per week working just in their payroll department
Skills Required:
* Previous payroll experience is essential.
* CIPP qualification advantageous (not essential)
* Experience within the Education setting advantageous.
* High attention to detail
* Confident and proactive
Key Responsibilities:
* Process salary payments monthly.
* Calculate payments, checking and processing overtime.
* Making statuary payments
* Produce, analyse, and balance payroll reports.
* Manage internal schemes.
* Processing P45’s and P60’s.
* Ensuring HMRC compliance.
* Processing pension schemes
* Dealing with queries
* Additional duties such as dealing with auditors.
