About The Role
At GSF Car Parts, the role of a Retail Assistant is essential for delivering excellent Customer Service. You will contribute to achieving branch and individual targets through face-to-face sales, servicing click and collect orders, and developing strong customer relationships.
Main duties include:
* Serve trade and retail customers for click and collect and general orders, maximizing sales where possible.
* Pick relevant parts from the warehouse to fulfill customer orders.
* Assist the sales team with product promotions by answering telephone and electronic queries.
* Satisfy customer needs regarding part orders, returns, or queries.
* Check customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge.
* Contribute to team performance and work on personal sales benchmarks.
* Use the E-learning portal to develop product knowledge.
* Keep customer-facing areas clean and tidy.
* Develop strong relationships with customers and understand their garage needs.
* Represent the company professionally, promoting our values and maintaining a good image.
* Work towards relevant KPIs.
Working hours:
20.5 hours on average, Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturdays.
About You
What you'll need to succeed:
* Customer service or sales/retail experience in a customer-facing role.
* Target-driven and motivated to achieve results.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Positive approach to customer queries and proactive resolution seeking.
* Confident in using IT and computer systems.
* Ability to work well with others.
* Attention to detail.
* Knowledge of car parts or automotive industry is a plus but not essential.
* Knowledge of MAM, Allicat, MS Office is desirable.
