Job Overview Seeking a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist for a permanent full time position in an accredited 850 bed Teaching Hospital in Auckland. Position Highlights work with a dedicated and friendly maternal mental health team of psychiatrists, nurses and psychologists providing services to a diverse population of Auckland work within the multi-disciplinary team, providing clinical oversight and best practice assessment and treatment to tamariki (children) and rangatahi (youth). you will work mainly from our different bases in the community throughout the city of Auckland provide clinical consultant liaison to health professionals in primary care practices and schools. accredited, 850-bed, teaching hospital of Auckland University and University of Otago, well-known internationally for world class work in orthopaedics; burns and spinal injury rehabilitation participate in medical student and RMO teaching excellent opportunities for CPD and career development Professional Requirements FRANZCP or equivalent qualification Eligible for vocational registration within the scope of psychiatry with the Medical Council of New Zealand or Special Purpose Locum Tenens registration Remuneration Package The remuneration packages defined by the SECA Collective Agreement basic salary for a 40 hour week and additional allowances for on Call Duty six weeks holiday per year 10 days study leave plus an allowance of 16,000 dollars per year relocation package covering cost of removal to New Zealand superannuation How to Apply if this position is of interest to you either on a permanent or locum tenens basis please do upload your CV and cover letter for our immediate consideration.
