Clinical/Counselling Psychologist/CBT Therapist

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, or Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to make a valuable difference to the lives of people living with cancer, within our friendly and well‑established Department of Psychological Medicine.
This post sits within our Acute Medicine and Cancer Psychology Team. The team consists of a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Principal Clinical Psychologist and Senior Clinical Psychologist. We have close working relationships with the Trust site specific cancer and local palliative care teams, delivering psychological therapy to patients and their relatives, reflective practice and training to MDT colleagues.

We offer flexible and hybrid working, with some working from home and a minimum of 50% on site. Supervision, CPD, and learning and development are essential.
Responsibilities
* Provide high quality specialised psychological assessment and treatment to patients and relatives referred to the Cancer Psychology service.
* Offer advice, consultation and supervision on patient’s psychological care to members of the cancer multi‑disciplinary teams.
* Contribute to audit, service development and research within the service.
* Provide teaching, training and reflective practice to cancer MDTs in line with needs identified.
