Your new role
Working Monday–Friday during term time, a typical school administration job will involve:
1. Being the first point of call for any staff, pupils and visitors to school, whether that be in person, over the phone or via email/ letter correspondence
2. Handling iing calls in a professional manner
3. Making outgoing calls
4. Diary management
5. Using the school system (usually SIMS or Arbor) to manage high volumes of student data
6. Input register information
7. Collate dinner numbers
8. Handling petty cash
9. Dealing with post and email queries
10. Maintaining the school website
Hours can vary between 8– depending on school needs and the size of the team they have.
