About the role?
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Wongs Jewellers for an Assistant Store Manager. This is your chance to help lead a talented, award-winning team in one of the UK's most prestigious independent jewellers.
Working alongside the Store Manager, you'll play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the store, managing a dynamic team across the sales floor and collaborating with our in-house goldsmiths. You'll be key to maintaining our renowned in-store experience and driving both operational and commercial performance.

What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a confident and capable retail professional with leadership experience in the jewellery industry or a high-end/luxury environment. You'll bring energy, professionalism, and a passion for people.
You'll also be:
* Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on processes
* Motivational and supportive, able to energise and coach a team
* Commercially aware and KPI-driven, with a results-focused mindset
* Passionate about delivering exceptional, personalised customer experiences
* Confident in visual merchandising and upholding brand standards
* Comfortable communicating across all levels of the business
* Experienced in supporting recruitment and team development
* Social media savvy and comfortable promoting the brand online
* Well-presented with a polished, professional appearance
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Store Manager in all aspects of daily operations
* Help lead the team to deliver outstanding service and achieve sales targets
* Step up to lead in the Store Manager's absence
* Nurture strong customer relationships to build long-term loyalty
* Champion showroom presentation and visual merchandising standards
* Assist with stock control, store layout, and operational planning
* Support with training, coaching, and motivating team members
* Use social media and digital tools to engage and grow the customer base
* Oversee the customer journey from initial enquiry to post-sale care
