SALARY RANGE: £30,000 - £37,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights. London Weighting may be applicable.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The New Partnerships Manager will join an experienced team responsible for identifying and securing new partnerships across a range of sectors. They will help generate significant income, increase audience reach, and maximise the power of our brand so that new partners can see the impact they can have for children and young people.

Your Key Responsibilities And Impact
* Generating Income and growth: able to identify and secure new partnerships that generate significant income, reach new audiences and help deliver the organisation's plans for growth.
* Relationship Management: use a proactive approach to outreach and relationship management, build a strong pipeline of prospects to help us secure high-value, strategic, multi-year and multi-faceted partnerships to deliver our strategic objectives for children.
* Develop high quality pitches and propositions, in line with our grant-making strategy, to secure partnerships and make the most of the power of BBC Children in Need's brand.
* Delivering Impact: Collaborate with our Impact and Insight teams to develop impact-led propositions that drive broader impact beyond income, through story-telling and a compelling case for support.
* Financial Reporting: Contribute to financial targets and use them to inform budgeting and forecasting.
Essential Criteria
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Commercial Development: Demonstrate strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of identifying opportunities and securing income from new partnerships ideally in charity context. Significant brand and marketing campaign experience with notable success, including metrics like increased sales, brand awareness, or customer engagement. An understanding of how these approaches can help deliver on the organisation's wider purpose for children.
* Relationship Management: Excellent interpersonal skills to engage effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders, and convey ideas succinctly and persuasively. Ability to use a variety of approaches to tailor and secure new partnerships ideally in a charity context.
* Creative Thinking: Experience of developing innovative ideas and compelling propositions and converting into wins to engage our audiences and supporters.
* Campaign Experience: Experience contributing to large-scale campaigns, preferably in a non-profit context.
* Passion for Cause: A genuine passion for delivering change for children and young people across the UK.
