This role will be Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm with a 30 minute lunch break.
Duties will include but not limited to:
* Painting/staining garden gates, fences, garages etc.
* Assisting in determining the most cost effective approach to achieving a durable and quality decorative finish.
* Advising customers on the selection of colour schemes and wall coverings available.
* Liaising with tenants to carry out the required work.
* Prepare and clean surfaces using the most appropriate method (e.g. Scraping, sanding, sand-blasting and hydro blasting), including removing wallpaper, loose paint, repairing cracks, holes and joinery.
* Applying paint, stains, lacquers, fibreglass, metal coatings and any other materials as necessary.
* Plastering skills would be an advantage.
* Willing to work at heights, such as aluminium tower scaffold, fixed scaffold, ladders and steps.
*Ensuring all Health and Safety requirements are met at all times. eg. assembling scaffolds and swing gates where necessary.
* Any other duties required to complete tasks required within skill set.
* Willing to work with non-licensed asbestos.
Must be able to drive.
