We are seeking Level 2 and Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistants to support pupils within specialist education settings in Gateshead. The role focuses on supporting learning, behaviour and emotional development.
You will play an important role in helping pupils access education and develop positive learning routines.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group learning support.
* Deliver targeted interventions under teacher guidance.
* Assist with behaviour management strategies.
* Support pupils’ emotional wellbeing.
* Work closely with teaching and pastoral staff.
Skills & Experience
* Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
* Experience supporting pupils with additional needs.
* Confident, calm and adaptable approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
