Contract Manager - Fabrication Projects
Location: Keighley, West Yorkshire
Galliford Try is looking for a Contract Manager to take charge of fabrication projects across the UK within the water sector. This is your opportunity to manage complex, high-value contracts from tender through to handover, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability every step of the way.

What you’ll be doing:
* Manage fabrication projects nationwide, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
* Take full ownership of programme delivery, financial performance, and project success.
* Drive improvements across the entire project lifecycle – from tendering and design to installation and handover.
* Lead and develop project teams, setting clear objectives and responsibilities.
* Support Operations, Installation, and Workshop Managers in resource planning.
* Produce performance reports and participate in monthly reviews.
* Prepare estimates, quotations, and tender vetting.
* Negotiate price variations and final accounts.
* Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through site visits and meetings.
What we’re looking for:
* ONC/HNC/B.Eng or NVQ equivalent in a relevant discipline.
* Health & Safety qualifications (IOSH or SMSTS desirable).
* CSCS card holder.
* Proven experience in the water/sewage industry and NEC contracts.
* Strong commercial awareness and technical knowledge.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines under pressure.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
