Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Branch Assistant for our Kettering location. This on-site role involves providing exceptional customer service, assisting with sales inquiries, processing orders, and managing inventory. You will contribute to the smooth operation of the branch by ensuring accurate stock management, supporting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a well‑organised workspace. The Branch Assistant will also assist in operating the trade counter and contribute to establishing strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
Qualifications
* Customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships
* Sales and communication skills to process customer inquiries and orders effectively
* Knowledge of electrical materials or prior experience in the electrical distribution industry is advantageous
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment
* Proficiency in basic computer systems for order processing and record‑keeping
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
