We are looking for a General Office Assistant to join our team in Exeter. This is a fully office-based role.
The Role:
1. Open and distribute post each morning, and collect, sort, and frank post each afternoon.
2. Ensure deadlines are met for special delivery mail and organise couriers.
3. Deliver packages locally by hand when necessary.
4. Undertake large volume scanning, photocopying, and printing requests.
5. Manage stationery orders and assist with file archiving and retrieval.
6. Provide backup for the Reception team and replenish catering stocks in staff kitchens.
7. Perform other administrative duties as required.
The Candidate:
1. Ability to prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines.
2. Good communication skills, both oral and written.
3. A strong team player mentality with the ability to use initiative.
4. A positive, proactive attitude with flexibility and commitment.
5. Ability to work autonomously and with minimum supervision.
6. Drive, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn.
7. Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.
8. Office experience and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel are desirable.
