Branch Manager – MGM Timber, Paisley at Donaldson Group. MGM Timber Ltd is part of the Donaldson Group, established in 1860. A family of 11 businesses focused on customer experience, innovation and sustainability. We are committed to nurturing and empowering our 1,500+ colleagues across the UK.
We are looking for a commercially savvy and people‑oriented Branch Manager to lead our Paisley site — a pivotal branch in our growing network. This hands‑on leadership role combines operational oversight, team development and customer relationship management to deliver strong commercial results.

Working patterns include flexible options; standard hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Key Responsibilities
* Commercial Leadership – Manage the branch’s commercial performance, maximise sales, control costs and improve margins.
* Customer Service & Relationship Management – Deliver excellent service by developing strong customer relationships and ensuring interactions meet company standards.
* P&L Accountability – Own the branch profit and loss, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting to meet targets.
* Team Management & Development – Lead, support and develop office, yard and production staff; conduct performance reviews and foster accountability and growth.
* Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance – Ensure compliance with all health & safety and environmental policies; maintain a safe, legally compliant working environment.
* Operational Oversight – Oversee day‑to‑day operations to ensure smooth functioning of the branch.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in a similar branch management, operations or supervisory role, ideally within timber, construction or manufacturing sectors.
* Experience managing a team and overseeing day‑to‑day business operations.
* A full, clean UK driving licence.
