Hours: 37hrs Full Time
Working Style: Your workstyle will be a mobile hybrid worker in this role which gives you the flexibility to work from home and from a variety of Council workplaces.
Lead the way in transforming transport across Neath Port Talbot!
We&re looking for a dynamic and strategic Transport Strategy Manager to take the reins on shaping the future of mobility in Neath Port Talbot. This is a high-impact leadership role where you&ll guide the development and delivery of forward-thinking transport strategies that support sustainable growth, walking and cycling, and inclusive connectivity.
You&ll be at the forefront of:
1. Driving the strategic direction of transport planning and policy across Neath Port Talbot and the wider region
2. Leading the development of innovative walking and cycling infrastructure plans
3. Overseeing funding bids and stakeholder engagement to unlock transformative transport projects
4. Working collaboratively across departments and external partners
About you:
We&re seeking someone with vision, leadership, and a passion for sustainable transport. You&ll need a relevant degree or equivalent experience in transport planning, engineering, or environmental strategy, along with a proven track record of delivering transport programmes.
