Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking to appoint an inspiring, innovative, and highly motivated teacher to join our 'Sycamore' Resourced Base provision team. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching SEND students at KS3 and KS4 to GCSE level. The successful candidate will join a passionate and experienced team and be well-supported in their professional development.
The 'Sycamore' provision is a specialist MLD resource base onsite for students with a range of additional needs who have an EHCP and require additional support to access the national curriculum and GCSEs. Students are taught by specialist staff with support from teaching assistants. They also access some lessons in the main school building, including some options subjects in Key Stage 4. The team supports students pastorally in form time and PSHE. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on students' academic success and personal development.
