Role Overview
In this role, you will assist the Store Manager in the daily operations of the store. You will take ownership of various duties, ensure the achievement of store KPIs, and motivate the team to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service. In the absence of the Manager, you will be the first point of contact, maintaining store standards and exceeding targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide considerate and responsible service to customers throughout their visit.
2. Handle inquiries and complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly.
3. Maintain personal appearance and dress standards as per company guidelines.
4. Understand and utilize the Customer Service measuring programme and Customer Satisfaction Surveys.
5. Achieve and exceed sales targets.
6. Interpret relevant Oracle reports effectively.
7. Utilize in-store devices and encourage the team to do the same.
8. Analyze store data such as Footfall, ATV, and Conversion rates using the dashboard.
9. Engage customers with visual merchandising techniques to promote sales.
10. Ensure weekly briefs are communicated and actioned.
11. Price merchandise correctly, update prices as needed, and display POS appropriately.
12. Keep stock displays clean and presentable at all times.
Training & Development
1. Develop internal staff and promote career progression within the group.
2. Monitor staff development through the Training and Development site and e-assessments.
3. Assist with recruitment, inductions, and staff training.
4. Prioritize management development via the Trainee Management Academy.
Skills, Experience & Knowledge
1. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
2. IT proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
