Generator Hire Sales Manager
Location: Nationwide (UK-based, flexible location)
Salary: Up to £55,000 basic + commission + benefits
LTek Recruitment is working with a leading provider in the power generation and hire sector to appoint an experienced Generator Hire Sales Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven sales professional with strong industry knowledge to take ownership of a national remit and drive revenue growth across a well-established business.
The Role
As Generator Hire Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and growing hire revenue across the UK. You will identify new business opportunities, manage key accounts, and work closely with operational teams to deliver tailored temporary power solutions.
This is a field-based, nationwide role offering flexibility in location, provided you can effectively cover your territory.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow generator hire revenue
* Identify and secure new business opportunities across construction, industrial, events and infrastructure sectors
* Manage and grow existing key accounts
* Provide technical and commercial support to customers
* Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts and close deals
* Work closely with internal operations and service teams to ensure seamless delivery
* Maintain accurate pipeline and sales reporting
Requirements
* Minimum 3+ years’ experience in generator hire sales (essential)
* Strong understanding of temporary power solutions and hire processes
* Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
* Established industry contacts would be advantageous
* Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills
* Full UK driving licence
