Milk Education is recruiting for a creative and experienced Digital Art Teacher to join a specialist SEND provision based inHalifax. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who can inspire students through digital creativity while supporting learners with additional needs.
This role is ideal for a teacher with a strong background in digital art and creative media, alongside proven experience working with SEND learners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging digital art and creative media lessons tailored to SEND learners
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet a wide range of additional learning needs
• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Support students’ creative expression, confidence, and independence
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to support development
• Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCO, and wider school teams
• Manage behaviour positively and consistently in line with school policies
Essential Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• Strong experience working with SEND students
• Experience delivering digital art, creative media, or similar creative subjects
• Knowledge or experience delivering UAL qualifications (Levels 1–2 ideally)
• Ability to differentiate lessons to support varying learning needs
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Patient, creative, and adaptable teaching approach
