Salary: £24.30 - £27.33 per hour, depending on grade, subject to increase for the 24/25 pay year.
Grade: TUTLEC 1 - 4, depending on qualifications and experience. Permanent contract with variable hours per week, term time only.
Location: Thurrock Adult Community College, main base in Old Court House, Grays, delivering courses across Thurrock.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for planning courses, creating resources, teaching lessons, marking learners' work, and providing developmental feedback.
Responsibilities
Plan curriculum for adult learners, assess progress, give constructive feedback, maintain accurate records, and support learner development.
Essential Qualifications
Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths, a Level 3 award in Education and Training, and ideally an English teaching specialism at Level 4 or 5. If you do not hold a specialism, you are expected to work towards it within the first year of employment.
Other Requirements
Enhanced DBS check with children’s barred list required.
