We are seeking a highly organised and analytical Performance and Support Officer to support the delivery of high-quality services within our Domestic Abuse Team
This is a key role in ensuring that performance, data, and business processes are effectively managed to support safeguarding outcomes for children, young people and families. You will play a vital part in supporting delivery of the Domestic Abuse High Risk Front Door responses.
The role provides a comprehensive performance and business support function, you will be confident using Excel, Word and a range of corporate systems, working with both internal teams and external partners to ensure that information is shared securely, accurately and in line with governance requirements.
Strong communication skills are essential, enabling you to clearly explain information requests, present performance data, and support effective multi-agency collaboration.
The role operates in a hybrid and agile way, requiring flexibility and the ability to travel across the borough.
Key Responsibilities will include:
1. Analyse complex data and produce clear, accurate performance reports and forecasts
2. Monitor and report on key performance indicators and support service improvement
3. Maintain high-quality data input and ensure compliance with statutory returns, audits and inspections
4. Support business planning, risk analysis, and performance tracking
5. Coordinate responses to FOIs, complaints and member enquiries
6. Undertake financial monitoring including budgets, invoices and forecasting
7. Provide administrative and organisational support to senior managers, including meetings and documentation
8. Act as a first point of contact for enquiries, ensuring timely and appropriate responses
9. Work collaboratively across services and with partners to support performance outcomes
10. Ensure compliance with governance, data protection and statutory requirements
The post holder will have:
11. Experience of performance analysis, data interpretation and reporting
12. Strong administrative and organisational experience in a business support setting
13. Experience of working with financial processes and monitoring budgets
14. Understanding of working within public sector or multi-agency environments
