The Opportunity
We’re working with a unique, consultant-led paediatric service in the Channel Islands to appoint a Consultant General Paediatrician.
This is a rare opportunity to join a small, high-performing team delivering comprehensive care across general paediatrics and neonatology, with full clinical ownership and no junior doctor tier.
You’ll be part of a close-knit consultant team providing care to a defined population, with strong links to UK tertiary centres.
The Role
* Manage a broad caseload across general paediatrics and neonates
* Provide inpatient, outpatient and HDU-level care
* Participate in the on-call rota as duty Paediatrician
* Take full responsibility for clinical decision-making and patient outcomes
* Contribute to service development, quality improvement and leadership
What We’re Looking For
* GMC Specialist Register (Paediatrics) or within 6 months of CCT
* Strong experience across acute paediatrics and neonatology
* Confident managing paediatric emergencies and stabilising neonates
* Experience in safeguarding and community paediatrics
* Comfortable working autonomously in a consultant-led model
