The Best Connection Portsmouth are advertising on behalf of our client based running out of sites in Portsmouth, Fareham and Southampton for HGV Class 2 Tipper Drivers.
Duties to include but not limited to:
* Operate HGV Class 2 Tipper vehicles safely and efficiently
* Deliver and collect aggregate from residential and commercial sites
* Ensure correct placement in line with site requirements
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
* Complete all relevant paperwork and digital records accurately (e.g. delivery notes, transfer notes)
* Communicate effectively with customers, office staff, and site personnel
* Secure loads correctly and ensure loads are transported safely
* Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients
* Keep vehicle clean and presentable
This work will be ongoing for the right candidate.
Hours and Days of work:
* Monday to Friday only
* 06:45 starts finishing around 5/6pm
Pay Rates:
£16.50ph Mon-Friday
£24.38 weekends and bank holidays only
You must have:
HGV Class 1 or 2 Licence
Digi Taco Card
CPC Card
Previous experience in a tipper vehicle preferred but not essential as training would be provided.
