Job overview Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LPFT) is rated as an outstandingly well-led Trust by the CQC and is committed to innovation and transformation. To bolster our efforts and continue to provide high quality, patient focussed services, we are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join the CAMHS Crisis and Enhanced Home Treatment Team (CCETT), as part of our Specialist Services division. We are looking for a doctor who is passionate and committed to the development of child and adolescent psychiatry. The role is full-time at 10PAs per week, with an additional PA as part of recruitment and retention. We are interested in hearing from anyone who is interested in a flexible working pattern, which would include job share and part time, there is also scope for hybrid working as agreed with the Clinical Director. Advert To provide comprehensive psychiatric services for children and young people with complex needs. To hold medical responsibility for the above population. To provide consultant psychiatric input into the various CCETT pathways. Post holders will be Approved Clinician under the Mental Health Act 1983 (amended 2007) and be willing to undertake training and assessments when appropriate. The post holder will also be required to maintain Section 12(2) approval under the Mental Health Act. To be part of the consultant CAMHS on-call rota out of hours and to contribute to the cross cover arrangements as agreed with the CAMHS consultant psychiatrists. Whilst on-call, the post holder will be expected to offer expertise and support where necessary to trainees on-call. To work independently and autonomously as a specialist offering leadership in CAMHS based services. Supervision and mentoring opportunities are provided within this post if needed To work clinically with children, young people and their families/carers and other allied professionals. To provide a lead role in the assessment of children and young people referred to the service. To be involved in the assessment and management of urgent and routine referrals. To participate in devising plans of action using a variety of therapeutic approaches. To support the implementation of plans of action in partnership with parents/carers. Working for our organisation Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is the principal provider of NHS mental health services, as well as providing some learning disability, autism, and social care services across the county.
