We are seeking an enthusiastic and confident Project Manager to join our North, Scotland, and Northern Ireland (NS&NI) practice, based in Newcastle. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career progression, responsible for managing projects from inception to completion across various infrastructure markets such as Water, Defence, Nuclear, Aviation, Energy, Rail, and Urban Developments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage project delivery, including scope, budget, and schedule, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company standards.
* Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance and development opportunities.
* Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
* Ensure safety, quality, and compliance standards are met throughout project execution.
* Manage risks and opportunities proactively.
* Negotiate change controls and manage subcontractor procurement.
* Monitor and report project performance against KPIs and financial targets.
* Mentor junior team members and promote a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Engineering background with experience in design management, project management, and contract administration.
* Proven experience managing infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ideally within a consultancy environment.
* Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of construction contracts, particularly NEC3 or 4.
* Client-facing experience with excellent communication skills.
* APM PMQ or equivalent is desirable.
